THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER Contempt Case No.1821 of 2017 Order: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) This Contempt Case is filed alleging willful and deliberate violation of our order in WPMP No. 12784 of 2017 in W.P. No. 7999 of 2017 dated 22.3.2017.

Smt. K. Kiranmayee, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, would submit that, after the Contempt Case was filed, W.P. No. 7999 of 2017 was disposed of by order dated 19.1.2018.

Since the present Contempt Case is filed against the interlocutory order in the Writ Petition, which was subsequently disposed of, the interlocutory order would not survive.

Consequently, there would be no justification in taking action against the respondents under the Contempt of Courts Act for violation of the interim order of this Court. The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
