THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.29154 of 2014 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4. 2.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "....to issue writ or direction preferably writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondent Nos.3 and 4 in taking appropriate action to arrest the accused and to seize the crime vehicle i.e., lorry bearing no.AP-24-V-9784 in Cr.No.303/2014 as illegal, arbitrary, and violative of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to take immediate steps to arrest the accused and seize the crime vehicle, and pass such other or further orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." 3.

During the course of hearing, learned Government Pleader brought to the notice of this Court that pursuant to registration of Crime No.303 of 2014, investigation was completed and charge sheet was filed on 30.10.2014 before the concerned Court. The same is taken on file as C.C.No.740 of 2014. On transfer, it is re-renumbered as C.C.No.1362 of 2017 and it is pending trial. 4.

In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition and the same is liable to be closed.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
