The present writ petition is filed by the petitioner-convict against the respondents for not passing orders on his application seeking extension of parole.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, submits that the petitioner's request for extension of parole was rejected by the Government under Memo No. 2205/Legal/A1/2015/2, dated 11.2.2015 and the said order has also been communicated to the petitioner on 9.3.2015.

In view of that, the writ petition is dismissed along with miscellaneous applications, if any. However, the petitioner is

at liberty to question the order of rejection, if he so desires. There shall be no order as to costs.
