The relief sought for in this writ petition is to declare the delay and inaction on the part of the 1st respondent in providing protection to the lives of the petitioners for some period pursuant to the representation dated 09.05.2015 as illegal and arbitrary and to consequently direct the 1st respondent to close F.I.R.No.130 of 2015 on the file of II Town Police Station, Nandyal, Kurnool District.

Heard both sides.

It is for the police to decide whether to file charge sheet or not in terms of Section 173 of Cr.P.C.

Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 1st respondent to complete the investigation and to file report expeditiously.
