THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR Writ Petition No.27988 of 2019 ORDER:
The present writ petition is filed to declare the action of the police authorities in illegally interfering into the civil matters and calling the petitioners to the police station and pressurizing to settle the matter with the unofficial respondents 6 & 7 in connection with the petitioners' agricultural property situated at Madikonda Village, Khazipet Mandal, Warangal District, as being illegal, arbitrary and against the principles of natural justice.
Heard Sri M. Ajay Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents 1 to 5.
The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions dated 19.12.2019, submits that one Vasukula Babu, who is the 6th respondent herein, has submitted a representation to the 2nd respondentCommissioner of Police, Warangal, wherein it is stated that his brother and sons have abused him and threatened him with dire consequences regarding the land issue and requested to take necessary action. The said complaint made by the 6th respondent has been forwarded to the 5th respondent-Station House Officer, Madikonda Police Station to cause enquiry and report. It is submitted that on receipt of the above representation, the 5th respondent called one Vaskula Veeraswamy who is the father of the petitioners and
elders to the police station and recorded their statements. On enquiry, it disclosed that the entire issue pertains to the land dispute between the parties and the same is pending before various executive authorities and also before the Principal Junior Civil Judge, Warangal. Based on the enquiry, the 5th respondent submitted a report to the 2nd respondent on 13.12.2019.
By the written instructions, it is further stated that for causing enquiry on the representation of the 6th respondent, only the father of the petitioners was called to the police station and the petitioners were never called to the police station. The 5th respondent denied the allegation that the petitioners were called to the police station on 07.12.2019 and kept in the police station.
Recording the above said submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on behalf of the official respondents, no furthers orders are required to be passed in this writ petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
