This writ petition is filed to declare the inaction of the respondents in registering the complaint of the petitioner dated 27.11.2019, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent to the filing of the writ petition by the petitioner, the complaint of the petitioner has been enquired into and notice, dated 06.12.2019, has been sent to the petitioner informing the action taken on the basis of the complaint and closed the matter as 'civil in nature'.

Having regard to the fact that a notice has been issued to the petitioner as to the action taken on the complaint, it is open for the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies by approaching the proper forum in accordance with law, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the said notice. 5.
Subject to the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
