Heard counsel for the petitioner, Government Pleader for Social Welfare appearing for 1st respondent and Sri B.Subhash, Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 2 to 4. 2.

Petitioner's contention is that petitioner is due to retirement on 30.06.2017 on completion of 58 years as per the notice dt.12.06.2017 issued by the 3rd respondent and that the petitioner is entitled to continue in service up to the age of 60 years.

Sri B.Subhash, Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 2 to 4 states that the respondents will continue the petitioner in service till he attains the age of 60 years and the same is placed on record.

Therefore, the Writ Petition is allowed, the order dt.12.06.2017 issued by the 3rd respondent is set aside, and the respondents are directed to continue the petitioner in service till he attains the age of 60 years. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
