The petitioner's husband was appointed as Driver on contract basis in the respondent-Corporation in the year 2007 and he died on 30.05.2008, while he was in service, leaving behind him the petitioner, a daughter and son. The petitioner submitted the relevant documents in November 2008 along with the proforma claiming death benefits. Even after receipt of the same, when no amount was paid, this Writ Petition is filed seeking the death benefits of her husband and also employment on compassionate grounds. She states that she submitted a representation on 02.02.2010 to the third respondent.

2. Even though, notice before admission was ordered and matter is posted after four weeks, there is no response from the respondents.

3. In the circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of in the presence of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondentCorporation by directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.02.2010 and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

4. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. ________________________ A.
