THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO Writ Petition Nos.16742 and 16752 of 2015 COMMON ORDER:

The petitioners are imparting education in Pharmacy and Engineering courses. They have applied to the third respondentUniversity on 31.03.2015 for issuance of No Objection Certificate (for short 'NOC') in order to get affiliation from the first respondent-University. The third respondent issued necessary NOC, through proceedings dated 08.05.2015 and when the first respondent was not considering the representation of the petitioners dated 09.03.2015 for issuance of NOC to get affiliation, the present writ petition is filed.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that after getting NOC from the first respondent-University, pursuant to the NOC granted by the third respondent-University, they have to go to the second respondent-State of Telangana also for obtaining necessary NOC. The academic year is fast approaching and it is necessary for them to get affiliation from the first respondentUniversity after obtaining NOC. In spite of several adjournments, the learned standing counsel for the first respondent-University is absent. In the circumstances, both the writ petitions are disposed of, directing the first respondent-University to consider the representation dated 09.03.2015 submitted by the petitioners for issuance of NOC so as to enable the petitioners to take further steps for affiliation, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in these writ petitions, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
