This writ petition is filed for a mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in canceling permission issued to the petitioners for construction of houses vide proceedings No.BLR.02/2014 and BLR 03/2014 dated 15-05-2014 and 19-05-2014 and in demolishing the construction as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice and for a consequential direction to the respondents not to take any steps contrary to law. Learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the respondent authorities have communicated the rejection proceedings after filing of the writ petition and sought for permission to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to file a fresh writ

petition challenging the said rejection proceedings. Permission is accorded.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn giving liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh writ petition challenging the rejection order dated 30-06-2014. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed. _____________________ A.
