THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.1849 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging violation of the common order dated 26.12.2017 passed by this Court in W.P.No.19701 of 2013 and batch.

A batch of Writ Petitions, including W.P.No.19701 of 2013, was disposed of by a common order dated 26.12.2017, whereunder the respondents were directed to continue the services of the petitioners, if they were continuing as on that day, and consider their cases for regularization, if permissible and if they were found fit for discharging their work (without having the requisite qualifications mentioned in the Circular issued in the year 2012-13). The Court observed that if for any reason, the petitioners were not found fit and in case any action was sought to be taken against them, appropriate notice shall be given to them. The Court also observed that the petitioners should not be permitted to live in the KGBV or had unrestricted access to the living area of the girls. The Court further observed that if any future vacancies arise and any recruitment takes place hereafter, they should be filled with female staff to the extent possible. 3.

In paragraph No.5 of the counter affidavit deposed by Ms. P. Sarojini Devi, it is stated that on 28.09.2018, proceedings were issued appointing the petitioners and they have joined duty accordingly.
