Heard both sides.

This Contempt Case is filed alleging violation of the interim orders dt.29-04-2013 in W.P.No.13248 of 2013 which were extended on 10-06-2013 in W.P.M.P.No.16267 of 2013 in W.P.No.13248 of 2013.

It is the contention of the petitioners that in spite of the status quo orders granted on 29-04-2013 in the said Writ Petition which were extended on 10-06-2013, the 1st respondent in the Writ Petition demolished the structure erected and had committed contempt of Court.

It is important to note that the order dt.29-04-2013 in the Writ Petition directed maintenance of status quo for six weeks, but when the order was extended on 10-06-2013, the status quo was confined only to entries in revenue record.

In the light of this modification, the status quo order is no longer extended as regards the physical features too which had existed in the original order.

Therefore, even if the 1st respondent had demolished the structures, it may not be said that he has committed contempt of Court. However, any such action taken by the 1st respondent will be

MSR,J C.C.No.1922 of 2017 subject to further consideration in the Writ Petition which is admittedly pending on the file of this Court. 7.

Therefore, the Contempt Case is dismissed. No costs. 8.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
