THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.6213 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners-A.8 & A.9 under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR No.160 of 2008 on the file of Metpalli Police Station, Karimnagar District.

Now, the limited prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioners is to dispense with the presence of the petitioners before the Court below in connection with FIR No.160 of 2008. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that from the year 2008 without there being any charge sheet, the petitioners are directed to be present before the Court on each and every adjournment.

In view of the above, the Court below is directed not to insist for the presence of the petitioners herein in connection with FIR No.160 of 2008 till filing of the charge sheet by the investigating agency.

The Criminal Petition is accordingly disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
