THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.29107 OF 2016 O R D E R :

The case of the petitioner is that he has made a complaint in the grievance cell before the 2nd respondent-District Collector, Warangal wherein he has stated that the land situated in Sy.Nos.123, 124, 125 belonged to his grand father and after their life time, petitioner has inherited the same and his name was also entered in the revenue records. While so, when the petitioner found that the name of the 5th respondent was wrongly entered in the revenue records pertaining to the above lands, petitioner made the above representation.

The 4th respondent got enquired into the same through Mandal Revenue Inspector who in turn conducted panchanama and submitted a report stating that the petitioner is in cultivation of the said lands and the name of the 5th respondent was wrongly entered in the revenue records and recommended to remove her name from the revenue records. Though 4th respondent has passed orders to remove the name of the 5th respondent from the revenue records, the said order has not been given effect to. Hence, the present writ petition. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

In the present case, the 4th respondent has already got enquired into the matter through MRI and also basing on the opinion of the Assistant Government Pleader Warangal, decided to remove the name of the 5th respondent from the revenue records.

It is expedient that the said order is to be given effect to, unless it is otherwise challenged or stayed by the appellate authority. In view of the above facts and circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to give effect to the impugned order passed by the 4th respondent and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law. No costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
