THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.24685 of 2018 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioners that despite lapse of considerable length of time from 30.11.2016, on which date the petitioners herein along with the original lessee filed an application for transfer of lease in favour of the petitioners herein, the respondents are not processing the application filed by them and it is submitted by the learned Counsel that the said application may be directed to be processed in accordance with law. On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that if any such application is pending, the same will be verified and appropriate Orders will be passed, strictly in accordance with law.

Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to verify the application, dated 30.11.2016, and process the same and pass final orders, strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending consideration, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
