Heard both sides.

The prayer sought in the Writ Petition is as under: "to issue an order, direction, more particularly one in the nature of mandamus declaring that the actions of the respondents 2 to 4 in calling the petitioner and his family members to the police station and asking the petitioner to sit every day from morning to night, forcing and coercing to obtain signatures on the blank papers, forcing to settle the civil dispute with petitioner mother and sisters filed by the petitioner minor son in court in Khammam and forcing to withdraw the same and forcibly, highhandedly taken the passport of the petitioner and kept with them without any complaint or crime is arbitrary, illegal capricious, whimsical, unjust and violating the Articles 14, 21 and 300A of the Constitution of India and infringing the fundamental rights of the petitioner and consequently direct the respondents not to call the petitioner and his family members to the police station and interfere in a Civil Dispute pending in the court in respect of petitioner minor son O.

S. 127 of 2013, settle the Civil disputes and release the passport of the petitioner in the interests of justice."

Learned Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos. 1 to 4, placed on record, the written instructions received

from the Sub-Inspector of Police, Khamma Urban P.S., Khammam district.

A perusal of the said instructions would reveal that the respondent Nos. 1 to 4 never harassed, threatened or interfered with the civil disputes between the petitioner and his mother i.e., respondent No.5, in O.S.No.127 of 2013. It is further stated that they never detained the petitioner in the police station and obtained signatures on blank papers highhandedly to settle the civil dispute. It is also stated that on 1.10.2013, they never summoned the petitioner to the police station and detained him and never ill-treated him. As of now, no criminal cases are registered against the petitioner and respondent No.5.

In the light of the same, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders are required in the Writ Petition. 6.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
