Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for Telangana State Road Transport Corporation appearing for the respondents.

This Writ Petition is filed praying to grant the following relief: "... to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondents in not paying the petitioners retiremental benefits is illegal, arbitrary, contrary to the APSRTC (Service) Regulations and as well as the fundamental rights guaranteed under the Constitution of India consequently direct the respondents to pay retiremental benefits to the petitioner and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

According to learned counsel for the petitioner, after filing the Writ Petition, all the benefits are paid except Concessional Bus Pass to the petitioner (retired from service) as well as to his wife. 4.
Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent - Corporation submits that petitioner has to make an application for grant of Concessional Bus Pass.

Having regard to the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make an application to the Depot Manager, TSRTC, Banswada Depot, Nizamabad District, the 3rd respondent, requesting to issue Concessional Bus Pass to him as well as to his spouse and as and when such application is made, the 3rd respondent shall consider the same in
accordance with the procedure envisaged and if petitioner is entitled, he shall be granted Concessional Bus Pass within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of application. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions shall stand closed.
