Pedapudi Rajendra Prasad , v. The State Of A.P.
THE HONOURABLE MR JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.4121 of 2015
ORDER
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Home.
2. The present writ petition alleges that in spite of the complaints stated to be filed by the petitioners on 08.01.2015 and 06.02.2015 with respect to the affairs of the Telugu Baptist Church, Jampani Village, Vemuru Mandal, Guntur District, respondents 3 to 5 are not taking any action and not registering the FIR.
3. The instructions of learned Government Pleader for Home show that since there were disputes between two groups, one led by the petitioners and the other by one C. Prasad, 6th respondent herein, with regard to conducting of prayers in the aforesaid Church, the 6th respondent filed O.S.No.416 of 2012 before the I Additional Junior Civil Judge, Tenali and the said Court in I.A.No.619 of 2012 passed an order directing maintenance of status quo that the first group shall conduct their prayer from 12.45 and another group shall conduct their prayer from 12.45 onwards. The instructions further show that on special occasions, like Christmas, Easter, since both the groups wanted to perform their prayers at the same time, some disputes have arisen between them and they approached the police station complaining against each other. The Inspector of Police, Tenali Rural Circle,
therefore, called both the parties and they have agreed to abide by the directions of the learned I Additional Junior Civil Judge, Tenali and the police have recorded an undertaking to that effect on 14.03.2015.
4. In view of that, therefore, apparently there is no subsisting dispute, which requires to be taken cognizance of by the respondent police. Hence, no further directions are called for in this writ petition.
5. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed.
