ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief: "to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the proceedings in L.Dis.No.B1/44/19, dated 4.2.2019 issued by the Commissioner, Endowments Department, Telangana State, Hyderabad, as wholly illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India and consequently declare that the petitioner is entitled to be absorbed in Sri Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Devasthanam, Bhadrachalam in terms of F.R 14-A and pass such other and further order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Heard Sri Ravi Kondaveeti, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Endowments appearing for respondents 1 and 2 and Sri K.Jagan Mohan Reddy, learned Standing counsel appearing for respondent No.3.

It is the case of the petitioner that initially, he was appointed as Junior Assistant in Sri Abhayanjaneya Swamy Temple, Bhadrachalam on 01.01.1999. After rendering considerable length of service, he was deputed to work in the 3rd respondent-temple. While working as such, he submitted

an application to the 3rd respondent seeking absorption in the 3rd respondent-temple and the 3rd respondent forwarded the same to the 2nd respondent. The 2nd respondent vide proceedings dated 04.02.2019 rejected his request. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 12.11.2019 to the 1st respondent. But, so far, no orders have been passed thereon. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 12.11.2019 submitted by the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents contended that since the representation dated 12.11.2019 submitted by the petitioner is pending with the 1st respondent, the 1st respondent would consider the same and pass appropriate orders.

Having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is of the view that the writ petition can be disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 12.11.2019 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
