- 2 - THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.28501 OF 2019 ORDER :

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. 2.

Petitioners claim that land to an extent of Ac.2-22 guntas in Sy.No.22 and Ac.1-00 guntas in Sy.No.160/A of Bulkapur Village Shankarpally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, is their ancestral property. After the death of their father, petitioners intend to mutate their names in the revenue records. There was rival claim by the brother of petitioners, who filed O.S.No.95 of 2011 in the Court of Senior Civil Judge, Vikarabad. The said suit was dismissed for non-prosecution and therefore, no litigation is pending as on today. On 09.05.2016 petitioners made application to the Tahsildar, to mutate their names in the revenue records. On 05.05.2018 a notice was issued by the Tahsildar, in response to the application made by the petitioners to mutate their names. But so far, the proceedings are not concluded. Aggrieved thereby, this writ petition is filed. A copy of the notice issued on 05.05.2018 is filed as Ex.P.6.

3.

In view thereof, without expressing any opinion on merits the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Tahsildar-2nd respondent to complete the exercise set in motion, by him, on 05.05.2018 in pursuant to the application made by the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. __________________ P.NAVEEN RAO,J 24th December, 2019 Rds
