HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 16666 OF 2003 ORDER :

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation submitted that the petitioners were granted erroneous increments. When it was realized that the petitioners were paid erroneous increments, the respondents have issued proceedings to recover the said increments and the petitioners are challenging the said action of the respondents by way of filing the Writ Petition and this Hon'ble Court was pleased to grant interim directions, as prayed for, on 08.08.2003. The Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation further submits that during the pendency of the Writ Petition, the petitioners have retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. 2.

In view of the above submission, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive and the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. 3.
