THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE N.BALAYOGI WRI T PETI TI ON No.3516 of 2016 ORDER: (per SK,J) The Union of India and its officials in the Postal Department filed this writ petition aggrieved by the order dated 22.04.2015 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad Bench, in O.A.No.151 of 2015. By the said order, the Tribunal directed the authorities not to proceed with the departmental enquiry initiated against the first respondent herein till completion of the criminal proceedings.

It is now brought to our notice by Sri G.Venkateshwarlu, learned counsel representing Sri B.Narayana Reddy, learned Assistant Solicitor General for India, that the criminal proceedings against the first respondent herein stood concluded as he was discharged by the competent criminal Court in exercise of revisionary powers in Crl.R.P.No.29 of 2016 on the file of the learned V Additional Sessions Judge, Bhongir, Nalgonda District.

In that view of the matter, the order under challenge does not subsist.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.

Interim order dated 09.02.2016 shall stand vacated. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
