Aggrieved by the inaction of the 3rd respondent - Inspector of Police / Station House Officer, Arilova Police Station, Visakhapatnam City, Visakhapatnam in registering the crime based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 13-06-2018, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances, writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to follow the guidelines laid down by Apex Court in LALITA KUMARI vs. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH1 and take appropriate action in accordance with law on the complaint stated to have been filed by the petitioner on 13-06-2018. With the above direction, writ petition is disposed of. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
