HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER:

Petitioner claims to be the owner and in possession of land to an extent of Ac.0.151⁄2 guntas in Sy.No.29/A/2 of Shagapuram village, Pangal Mandal, Wanaparthy district. He was granted pattadar passbooks. Even after the recent revision of the revenue records, 1-B copy dated 03.12.2017 was furnished to the petitioner showing the total extent of Ac.0.151⁄2 guntas, whereas in the subsequent 1-B copy dated 10.09.2019 the extent of land is reduced to Ac.0.08 guntas. Aggrieved thereby, petitioner filed representation to the Tahsildar, Pangal, requesting him to rectify the mistakes. The Tahsildar by endorsement dated 05.08.2019 directed the Village Revenue Officer to enquire into the matter and submit his report. Subsequently, representations were also made requesting to expedite the issue. Alleging that so far no further steps are taken to rectify the clerical mistakes occurred, this Writ Petition is filed. 2.

Having regard to the same, without expressing any opinion on merits, Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the Tahsildar to examine the claim of petitioner as ventilated in the representation, which was acknowledged and endorsed by him on 05.08.2019 and furnish suitable reply to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If it is noticed that it is clerical mistake, and erroneously reflection of entries is made, the same may be corrected and appropriate orders be passed to that extent.
