THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.2939 of 2011 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner was that the respondent authorities were not issuing way bills to enable him to conduct sand quarrying operations though his first year lease was subsisting till 31.03.2011.

The lease deed dated 02.06.2010 placed on record by the petitioner indicates that the lease was to expire by 31.03.2012. In that view of the matter, the issue raised in this writ petition has become purely academic at this stage.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
