THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.24619 OF 2018 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Special Standing Counsel.

Petitioner is challenging the order of suspension dated 05.07.2017 on the ground of pro-long suspension and that no progress in the disciplinary proceedings.

On instructions, learned Special Standing counsel, informs the Court that the enquiry officer already submitted his report and the matter is at the stage of finalization of the disciplinary proceedings and if two weeks time is granted, appropriate final orders will be passed.

Having regard to the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Project Director (2nd respondent), to finalize the disciplinary proceedings within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Having regard to the fact that petitioner is under suspension for more than year, if the disciplinary proceedings are not finalized within the time granted, petitioner shall be reinstated. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
