Heard.
The petitioners herein seek a direction against respondents 1 to 5 to give protection to their property i.e., Mango garden in an extent of Ac.78-68 cents in R.S.Nos.1/2, 15, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23 to 26/1 situated at Jagannadhapuram of Jeelugumilli Mandal, West Godavari District. The petitioners allege that respondents 6 to 9 have illegally trespassed into the Mango Garden and tried to prevent the petitioners and their driver while doing agricultural operations and threatened to kill them, when they obstructed respondents 6 to 9. In that regard, the petitioners have filed a complaint and the same was registered as Cr.No.4 of 2015. Now, the petitioners seek protection for the Mango garden.
The instructions of the learned Government Pleader state that basing on the complaint of the petitioners, a case in Cr.No.4 of 2015 was registered on 04-01-2015 and took up investigation and during the course of investigation, some witnesses were examined and recorded their detailed statements. However, respondents 6 to 9, who are A1 to A4, are presently absconding and efforts are being made to arrest them.
Since the respondent police have already registered a case, basing on the complaint of the petitioners and already took up investigation, the Investigating Officer shall complete the investigation expeditiously and take all necessary steps required to ensure that the petitioners are able to conduct agricultural operations in the mango garden. No order as to costs.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
