THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.17250 OF 2016 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home. With consent of both the counsel, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2 . The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent not to call the petitioner to KPHB Police Station pertaining to the civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the unofficial respondents.

3. Since this Court is not going into the merits of the case, it may not be necessary to issue notice to the unofficial respondents.

4. The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that the first respondent is illegally and intentionally calling the petitioner to the police station to settle the civil dispute pending between him and the unofficial respondents.

5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents-police authorities to be mindful of the limits of their jurisdiction in criminal law and not to interfere with any civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the unofficial respondents.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
