THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.33019 OF 2017 ORDER:
The writ petition is filed for the following relief. "... to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of "Writ of Mandamus" declaring the action of the respondents in not implementing and not following the provisions of Section 75 of the Act, 2014, while allotting seats at the 2nd respondent University which is notified in Tenth Schedule and thereby depriving the petitioner of his seat in M.Tech (Planning) Course as being illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to set aside the admission, which were made contrary to Section 75, in the respondent University in M.Tech (Planning) Course and further direct the respondents to follow and implement the provisions of Section 75 of the Act, 2014 while making admissions and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for respondents 2 to 4 submits that the petitioner would be given a seat in M.Tech (Planning) Course and in view of the undertaking given by the learned counsel for respondents 2 to 4, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly closed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
