THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.30286 of 2015 ORDER:

The petitioner was appointed as a Fair Price Shop dealer of Shop No.21, Chinna Kopperla Village, Koilkuntla Mandal, Kurnool District. While so, on the basis of the report submitted by the Deputy Tahsildar (CS), Koilkuntla, dated 18.08.2015, the authorisation of the petitioner was suspended pending enquiry by order dated 24.08.2015. When no further proceedings were taken by the second respondent, the present writ petition is filed. When the authorisation is suspended, the second respondent is supposed to issue a show cause notice, invite explanation and conduct an enquiry in respect of the allegations levelled against the petitioner. The impugned order points out four irregularities against the petitioner. In respect of the same, an enquiry has to be conducted by issuing show cause notice and receiving explanation.

In the circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to complete the process of enquiry by the above steps within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
