This Criminal Petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, by the petitioners/accused Nos.l and 2 seeking to quash the proceedings in F.I.R. No.lS of 2OL8 of Chilkalguda Police Station, Hyderabad City, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 42O, 406 and 506 of the IPC and Section 5 of the Andhra Pradesh Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishments Act, 1999.

No representation on behalf of the petitioners, either \ \ 'l physically or virtually.

Mr. M. Vivekananda Reddy, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, based upon the instructions furnished by the concerned oflicer, submitted that during pendency of the criminal petition, the Investigating Officer conducted the investigation and filed a {inal report before the Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Nampally. The learned Magistrate took cognizance and numbered the case as C.C.No.18 of 2024 and the same is now pending. By virtue of the same, the cause in the criminal petition does not survive for consideration.

In view of the above said submission, the petitioners are granted liberty to avail the remedies as available under law for seeking quashing of the proceedings in c.c.No.lg of 2024, if so they are aggrieved, by raising all the grounds, which are pleaded in the present criminal petition.
