This petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code (for short "Cr.P.C.") to quash the proceedings in Crime No.149 of 2018, on the file of Vizianagaram II Town Police Station, Vizianagaram District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 418, 420, 506 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code (for short "I.P.C.") and under Section 156 (3) of Cr.P.C.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/A-3 and learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana representing the respondent-State. Perused the material on record. 3.

Learned counsel for petitioner, after arguing the matter for sometime, requested this Court to direct the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. 4.

Acceding to the request of the learned counsel for petitioner, without touching the merits of the matter, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar1.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
