This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in C.C. No.218 of 2009 (Cr.No.159/2009 of P.S. Godavarikhani I Town P.S.) on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Godavarikhani. 2.

Learned Public Prosecutor filed a letter dated 19.2.2018 of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Godavarikhani I Town P.S., Karimnagar District, addressed to him, stating that C.C. No.218 of 2009 is ended in acquittal as per the judgment dated 29.9.2014. The letter is brought on record.

As the case C.C. No.218 of 2009 is ended in acquittal, nothing survives in the Criminal Petition to adjudicate and it has become infructuous.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
