ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3; Mr.Safdar Mirza, learned counsel appears for respondent Nos.5 to 7.

2. Petitioner filed a complaint, dated 12.02.2015, whereby a case in crime No.66 of 2015 was registered by respondent No.3 for the offence under Section 498A and 406 IPC read with Sections 4 and 6 of D.P.Act. Alleging that no investigation is taken up after registration of the crime, the present writ petition is filed.

3. Instructions of the learned Government Pleader show that the

investigation is not only taken up but also the statements of L.Ws.1 to 6 were recorded and Nikhanama between the parties also collected. It is stated that accused Nos.2,3 and 4 have appeared before the Station House Officer and gave an undertaking that they will again appear as and when their presence is called for by the Station House Officer. So far as A1 is concerned, appropriate steps are already initiated by issuing a look out notice dated 14.02.2015 and that the investigation is still pending.

4. In view of the fact that the investigation is already taken up substantially and is pending, no further directions are called for. Writ petition is disposed of. Respondent No.3 shall, however, complete the investigation and take appropriate further steps in accordance with law, expeditiously.
