THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.38201 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to call for the records in FIR No.129 of 2016 and to quash the same.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners are A-2 to A-8 in Crime No.129 of 2016. The grievance of the petitioners is that one Shireen Sultana, wife of A-1, who is the de facto complainant, made a complaint to the 2nd respondent, which was registered as Crime No.129 of 2016, alleging that A-1 got married with the de facto complainant in the year 2008 and at the time of marriage, her parents gave Rs.3,50,000/- as dowry. It is further alleged that the de facto complainant was harassed by A-1 and the petitioners to sign on the divorce papers as A-1 has illegal intimacy with the 7th petitioner and got married her on 17.10.2016 after converting her religion into Islam and marriage certificate was also issued by the Telangana State Wakf Board on 26.10.2016.

Considering the grievance of the petitioners, the 4th respondent is directed to complete the investigation in FIR No.129 of 2016, as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, either way in accordance with law, without arresting the petitioners. The petitioners are directed to appear before the 4th respondent as and when required for the purpose of investigation.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ___________________ RAJA ELANGO,J Date: 7th November, 2016 KL
