This criminal petition is filed for quash of the proceedings in CC.No.992 of 2013, against the petitioners, who are A2 and A3, on the file of the IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally. The offences alleged are under Sections 498-A, 312 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

The learned Public Prosecutor produced a letter addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Miyapur Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate dated 13.11.2018 stating that the case has been compromised before the Lok Adalat on 11.05.2015. 3.

In the light of the above, this Court opines that no further orders are required to be passed in this criminal petition. The criminal petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. __________ T. RAJANI, J November 30, 2018 DSK
