HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.28288 of 2019 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent - Municipal Corporation.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "... to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not discharging the statutory duties and in not considering the complaints/representations of the petitioners for initiating action against the illegal construction undertaken by the 4th and 5th respondents in plot Nos.57 and 58 admeasuring 165 and 176 square yards violating set back norms and also encroaching the payment and the road margin by constructing compound wall and ramp thereby violating the provisions of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955 (as amended) as being illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and in contravention to the provisions of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955 (as amended) consequently demolish the same."

Learned Standing counsel, on instructions, submits that the 2nd respondent will consider the representations dated 24.09.2019, 14.10.2019 and 11.12.2019 given by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders.

In the light of the above said submission made by the learned Standing counsel, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representations dated 24.09.2019, 14.10.2019 and 11.12.2019 submitted by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders as per law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.
