THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 11706 of 2009 O R D E R:

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in trying to demolish the building in premises bearing No.6-1-276/A/5(P), situated at Padma Rao Nagar, Secunderabad, pending disposal of application No.BPS1900/SC/NZ/GHMC/2008 submitted by the petitioner on 09.04.2008 under Building Regularization Scheme, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice .

While admitting the writ petition on 16.06.2009, this Court granted interim stay of demolition of the building in question till the application of the petitioner is disposed of. Though the writ petition is of the year 2009, no counteraffidavit is filed by the respondents till today. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to dispose of the application of the petitioner, if it has not been disposed of, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that till such time, the interim order, dated 16.06.2009, passed by this Court shall remain in force.
