THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN C.R.P.No.2349 of 2016 ORDER:

Sri V.Ganesh Bhujanga Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the suit itself was disposed of on 01.06.2016; the submissions made by him on 10.06.2016 that the suit was posted 'for pronouncement of judgment' on 16.06.2016 is incorrect; he had made an incorrect submission on the basis of the instructions of his counterpart in the Court below; and he tenders his unconditional apology for having led the Court to believe that the suit was listed 'for pronouncement of judgment' on 16.06.2016 when, in fact, the suit was partly decreed on 01.06.2016 itself. While I was initially inclined to initiate proceedings against the learned counsel for the petitioner under the Contempt of Courts Act for the false statement made to this Court, his unconditional apology in open Court is accepted and, as the suit itself has been decreed in part on 01.06.2016, the Civil Revision Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
