HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.24963 OF 2018 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents 2 to 4 in not providing police protection to the petitioner in view of the long consistent threat to his life. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2018 was entrusted to the DSP, East Zone, Rajamahendravaram; that thereon an enquiry was conducted on the allegations of the petitioner dated 21.06.2018, and found that there is no threat to the petitioner from the opponents in the civil dispute. Accordingly, the same was informed to the petitioner. But, the same is disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the above, the competent authority is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 21.06.2018, if not already disposed of and communicate the same to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
