ORDER:- Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned government pleader for Revenue.

2. Petitioner seeks amendment of entry in the Adangal, which allegedly shows the name of the fourth respondent, and is stated to have made an oral application. Since no cognizance can be taken on the oral application of the petitioner, no directions can be given.

3. However, petitioner is at liberty to make appropriate application to the competent authority and if such an application is made, the competent authority is directed to examine the same and take appropriate decision, in accordance with law, expeditiously. With the above direction, writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. _____________________ VILAS V.
