HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.24929 OF 2018 O R D E R :
This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 3rd respondent in calling the petitioner to the police station and threatening him to register false cases against him without any complaint whatsoever, notice or order from any Court of law.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that the 4th respondent who is the wife of the petitioner gave a complaint against the petitioner on 06.07.2018; that based on the said complaint, a GD entry was also made on the same day and took up the enquiry; that during enquiry the petitioner was called to the police station for ascertaining the truth or otherwise of the complaint lodged by the 4th respondent; that petitioner came to the police station along with his son and village elders and handed over the custody of his minor son Praneeth Kumar, aged 8 years to the 4th respondent. It is also stated that except conducting enquiry on the complaint given by the 4th respondent, the respondent police never interfered with the family affairs of the petitioner. The other allegations that the respondent police are calling the petitioner to the police
station without there being any complaint and also threatening him to implicate in false cases were all denied. Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of. However, this order will not prevent the petitioner from availing remedies as may be available to him under law. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed. _____________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 20.07.2018 t k.
