This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners-Accused Nos.2 to 5 under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') seeking to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.384 of 2019 on the file of Junior Civil Judge-cum-XXVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Maheswaram, Ranga Reddy District, which arose out of Crime No.22 of 2018 of Maheshwaram Police Station, Cyberabad.

None appeared for the petitioners-Accused Nos.2 to 5. Perused the record.

When the matter was listed on 27.10.2022 learned counsel for the petitioners sought adjournment at 02.30 PM without informing the learned counsel for the respondent and the learned counsel for the respondent waited till 04.10 PM to argue the matter, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners, as such, this Court directed to post the matter to 02.11.2022 under the caption 'for dismissal'.

Even, when the matter is listed under the caption 'for dismissal', today, there is no appearance for the petitioner. It shows that the petitioners are not evincing any interest in prosecuting the matter.
