THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.798 OF 2017 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed alleging non-implementation of the order in W.P.M.P.No.3628 of 2017 in W.P.No.3074 of 2017, dated 21.02.2017. The interim order reads as follows:- "There shall be interim direction to the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner for affiliation, in accordance with law. Till such time, it is open to the second respondent to allow the petitioner to participate in the ensuing tournament, for which purpose, the petitioner shall make a separate application."

A perusal of the above order indicates that the application of the petitioner for affiliation shall be considered in accordance with law and it was left to the discretion of the second respondent to allow the petitioner to participate. Pursuant to the same, it appears that the application was considered in the meeting of the second respondent on 28.10.2017 and granted affiliation to Baseball Association of Telangana headed by the petitioner as General Secretary.

In view of the same, nothing survives for consideration in the present contempt case.

The contempt case is accordingly closed.
