ORAL ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

Petitioners claim that they are owners of different extents of land mentioned in paragraphs 2 to 8 of the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition. That they were issued with pattadar pass books. Petitioners allege that, consequent to revision of exercise of updating the land records, new pattadar pass books are to be issued but the same were not issued to them for the reasons best known to respondent authorities. Having denied issuance of pattadar pass books without any justification, they have been making representations to various authorities and also made application to Hon'ble Chief Minister much prior to 24.3.2019. That on 24.3.2019 a representation was made to Tahsildar marking copies of the same to Revenue Divisional Officer, District Collector and Chief Minister's camp office etc acknowledged by the respective officers. Again on 1.7.2019 reminder was sent but so far no reply is given to the petitioners and pass books are not issued causing hardship to the petitioners. Hence, this writ petition. 3.

Representation made on 24.3.2019 is filed as Ex.P.1 and reminder dated 1.7.2019 is filed as Ex.P.2.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, writ petition is disposed of directing 4th respondentTahsildar to look into the grievance of the petitioners regarding non

issuance of new pass books to them and if they are entitled for issuance of new pattadar pass books and same was not issued without any justifiable reason or cause, same shall be issued to the petitioners and if they are found to be not entitled, suitable reply be issued to petitioners within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
