THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.15618 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:

"to issue writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not considering the case of petitioners in view of their previous experience and appointing inexperienced persons who are not related with the said construction works as contract labours and thereby depriving a source of employment and livelihood of the Petitioners is illegal, arbitrary, violative of Article 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India apart from violative of Principles of Natural Justice."

Heard Sri T.S.L.V.N. Swamy, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Vidya Sagar, learned Standing Counsel for respondents.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioners, the petitioners herein submitted a representation on 24-07-2015 to the respondents herein and no orders have been passed on the said representation so far. A request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioners to direct the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 24-07-2015, in accordance with law, by fixing some timeframe. The said request is not opposed by learned Standing Counsel for respondents and submitted that the said representation would be considered, in accordance with law.

For the aforesaid reasons, the writ petition is disposed of,

without expressing any opinion on the merits and demerits of the matter and entitlement of the petitioner, directing the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 24-07-2015 said to have been submitted by the petitioners herein, in accordance with law, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
