This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the 3rd respondent in not administering the oath of office to the petitioners as nonhereditary trustees of 4th respondent-temple inspite of proceedings of the 1st respondent in Rc.No.G1/26762/2009 dated 25-11-2010 as illegal and arbitrary.

This Court while admitting the writ petition on 28-1-2010 granted interim direction as prayed for. The term of the office as per the proceedings of the 1st respondent, dated 25-11-2010, is for a period of two years. No counter is filed by the respondents and since already a positive direction was issued in the interim order, the writ petition is disposed of in terms of the said interim order. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
