THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.4348 of 2007

ORDER

Ms B. Geetanjali Devi, learned counsel representing Dr. P.B.Vijaya Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners, states that the issues arising in this writ petition fell for consideration before the High Court of Delhi in a batch of matters and that the judgment rendered therein would enure to the benefit of the petitioners.

2. Sri G. Venkateswarlu, learned counsel representing Sri B. Narayana Reddy, learned Assistant Solicitor General for India, states that he has been served with a copy of the judgment dated 04.07.2008 rendered by the High Court of Delhi in WP (C) No.14247 of 2006 and batch and concedes that all the issues arising in this writ petition have been considered and decided in favour of the petitioners herein.

3. In terms of the aforesaid judgment and for reasons alike as were mentioned therein, this Writ Petition is allowed setting aside the impugned proceedings. There shall be a consequential direction to the respondents to extend pension to the petitioners by covering them under GPF only and by counting their past temporary service.

Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
