THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.41279 of 2015 ORDER:

The prayer of the petitioner is to include his name in the panel of advocates for filling up the post of Additional Public Prosecutor in the Court of the learned IV Additional District and Sessions Judge (Fast Track Court), Anantapur.

Though the petitioner states in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition that the panel should also include a candidate from Muslim Minority Community, he concedes that there is no such reservation policy for filling up the posts of Public Prosecutors/Assistant Public Prosecutors. In the absence of a legal right, the petitioner cannot assert that his name should also be included in the panel. No violation of procedure is alleged in the context of preparing the panel warranting interference by this Court. The writ petition is therefore utterly misconceived and is accordingly dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
