Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent State. 2.

The present Criminal Revision Case is filed questioning the judgment passed in Crl.A.No.21 of 2013 dated 21.4.2014 on the file of the Court of the IV.Additional District and Sessions Judge(FTC) at Karimnagar, confirming the judgment in CC.No.289 of 2007 dated 5.2.2013 on the file of the Court of Special Judicial Magistrate of First Class(Excise), Karimnagar, convicting the petitioner herein for the offence under Section 498-A IPC.

The petitioner/revision petitioner filed I.A.No.1 of 2018 to permit him to file an application for compounding the offence. 4.

The petitioner/revision petitioner filed I.A.No.2 of 2018 seeking permission of the Court to compound the offence under Section 498-A IPC filed against him.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that during the pendency of the present Criminal Revision Case, on the advice of the elders in the family and their well-wishers, they have settled the matter and in fact, for the last one year they are living together under the same roof.

To that effect, a memorandum of compromise is also enclosed to I.A.No.2 of 2018.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and after perusal of the applications, this Court deems it appropriate to allow the two applications. Accordingly, I.A.No.1 of 2018 and I.A.No.2 of 2018 are allowed.

Having heard both the counsel and on perusal of the material on record, the Criminal Revision Case is allowed in terms of the memorandum of compromise submitted by the defacto complainant and the revision petitioner herein, by setting aside the judgment passed in Crl.A.No.21 of 2013 dated 21.4.2014 on the file of the Court of the IV.Additional District and Sessions Judge(FTC) at Karimnagar, confirming the judgment in CC.No.289 of 2007 dated 5.2.2013 on the file of the Court of Special Judicial Magistrate of First Class(Excise), Karimnagar.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
